Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 1/4 Cups Soft Icing Sugar
  • 2 Extra Large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Plain Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Table Salt
  • 1 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 4 Scoops AsVital Chocolate Powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to175°C. Line two baking sheets with baking paper
  • Mix the butter: Melt butter in microwave for 30 seconds
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In the kitchen stand mixer: Melted butter, eggs and vanilla at medium speed until all wet ingredients are well mixed.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, AdVital and salt. Sugar can be added in the dry ingredient mixture rather than wet mixture.
  • Sieve the powdermixture before adding to the wet mixture. Make sure to add the dry mixturegradually into the stand mixer to let the dry and wet mixture fully mixed.
  • Half of the chocolatechips could be added into the stand mixer after both the dry and wet mixtureare well mixed like a sticky dough.
  • Shape the cookies: Decoratethe cookies: Drop tablespoon fuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about apart accordingly. Shape the cookies by hand.
    Add the rest of thechocolate chips on top of the shaped cookies for decoration.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.The cookies will continue to firm up as they cool.
  • Cool: Allow the cookies tocool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rackto cool completely.
