ITALIAN MEATBALLS

Is there a more universally appealing pasta dish? Created in America by Italian immigrants, pasta and meatballs (smothered in a flavour-loaded tomato sauce) is perfect for almost every occasion.

  • 500 g pork mince
  • 1 egg
  • 100 mL milk
  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 scoops AdVital Powder, 50 g
  • 200 g olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Soak the bread with the milk, and then set the bread aside.
  • In a bowl, combine the mince, egg, AdVital Powder, thyme, basil, salt and pepper.
  • Squeeze the milk out of the bread, and add it to the mince. Mix everything together until the mixture is well-combined.
  • Roll 25g of mixture into balls, then transfer the balls to a plate. Cover the plate and place it in the fridge until you’re ready to cook.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat.
  • Cook the meatballs, in batches, until they turn golden brown. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a plate.
  • Serve the meatballs with pasta and your favourite sauce, or eat them plain with a salad.
